GUEST SPEAKER – Mr. Russell Raypon

Russell Raypon is our new school counselor.  He was a student here and graduated in 1988.  He has a degree in psychology.  He handed out an outline for the pilot program, which has been under discussion for 4 or 5 years.  The purpose of the program is to provide psychological and academic support with a Catholic-centered focus to the St. Anthony School community.  This will be a collaborative effort between the counselor, teachers, and parents and will meet the needs of all students.  He will be available at the school once a week.  His philosophy is that there are problem situations NOT PROBLEM CHILDREN.

Mr. Carey led us in closing prayer at  8:25 p.m.

An Executive Board Meeting was held after the regular meeting was adjourned.
